This course provides students with a concise and clear overview of the Legal System and Legal Services of England and Wales. Students will develop their knowledge and understanding of two subjects assessed in SQE1. The Legal System of England and Wales and Legal Services.
The course is divided into two parts. Part 1 will look at an overview of the court structure in England and Wales and examines the source of law. Part II explores the regulation of legal services in England and Wales.
The course will give students the opportunity to test both their ability to identify and apply the relevant legal principles and rules appropriately to problem scenarios, through MCQs. This class will be followed by a practical MOCK workshop on 12 March 2023.
