In this MOCK WORKSHOP students will revise mocks that cover the fundamental rules relating to criminal practice from the commission of the criminal offence, through to the investigation and charge of the offence, and the trial process. In particular, the workshop will help students to develop their knowledge and understanding of the law, procedure and processes involved in advising a client at the police station, pre-trial considerations and magistrates’ court and Crown Court trials, including sentencing and appeals. In this MOCK WORKSHOP students will built on concepts learnt during the LECTURE on Criminal Procedure & Practice on 13 May 2023.
With the aid of a tutor, the answers will be discussed together with tips and tricks on how to avoid pitfalls and traps in the exam.
